Dance Qualifications – IDTA Dance Teacher Training

Here at LSCA we offer our undergraduate dance students the chance to study for a Level 4 Diploma in Dance Teaching through the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). This is an optional extra open to those with an interest in teaching and leading. We currently have students undertaking training in a range of genres, including Modern Jazz, Ballet, and Tap.

The final teaching examination takes place in the summer of level 3 and equips our students to enter the performing arts industry with their BA (Hons) Degree and a Level 4 Teaching Qualification.

LSCA Industry Speaker Series:

Professional artists, creatives, makers, producers, and cultural leaders, from across the sector, share their experiences of working in the arts today. Our invited speakers discuss how they got started, the journeys their creative careers have taken them on, and offer insights and tips to working professionally in the arts and cultural industries.
